Former Liverpool legendary head coach Jürgen Klopp admitted for the first time that he might "theoretically be willing to return to coach Liverpool in the future"..

In an interview on Tuesday for British entrepreneur Steven Bartlett's Diary of a CEO podcast, former Liverpool legendary head coach Jürgen Klopp admitted for the first time that he might "theoretically be willing to return to coach Liverpool in the future."

Klopp stated in the interview that he has no current interest in coaching and doesn't miss it, and believes that will remain the case for some time. However, he did leave the door open to the possibility of coaching again in the future.

Klopp said: "I said I would never manage another club in England again, so if it was Liverpool, yes. Theoretically, it's possible."

"I'm not sure (when I would want to return to coaching)."

"I love my job now. I don't miss coaching, not at all. I'm still a coach, just working in a different way. I'm not a player, and I don't miss that either."

"I don't miss standing in the rain for two and a half or three hours. I don't miss doing press conferences three times a week and 10 to 12 interviews a week. I don't miss that, not at all."

"I don't miss being in the dressing room, because I don't feel like I'm there enough."

"I've coached over 1,080 games, so I'm in the dressing room a lot. I don't want to die in the dressing room, just because it's so comfortable, the smell!"

When asked about his former favourite player Diogo Jota,  Klopp spoke emotionally about his sudden passing that: "That morning I received a message with the terrible news from a friend at Liverpool. I couldn't believe it. It was impossible! I knew what it meant. I saw all the pictures from the wedding, with the boys there... I remember exactly how long I sat there in silence."

"To this day I still can't imagine the dressing room without him, and the same can be said for the Liverpool boys."

"Losing him was like losing a family member. You can never be prepared for something like this; you always have to deal with the unexpected. He impressed me deeply. He was a very special young man with an effortless ability to light up a room. You can't teach that."

"No one at Liverpool will ever use that as an excuse (for the team's recent poor performances)... He has a very close relationship with James Milner and Kostas Tsimiskas; it's a world of difference. Handling this (replacing Jota) from a personal perspective... is impossible."

"Diogo never complains, never causes trouble, and you can always count on him. He's willing to play despite injuries, trains hard, and cares for his teammates. The players never forget that just being a part of the team makes it better."

"For me, he's not just a player; he's a person I truly enjoy. He's funny, intelligent, and wise... It's hard to describe what a person like that means to a team; he makes life better!"

It's worth noting that this is the first time since leaving Liverpool that Klopp hasn't ruled out a future coaching stint.

Previously, the former Dortmund head coach has refuted rumours claiming that he is interested coaching at Barcelona, Real Madrid, Roma, the Brazilian national team, or Juventus through his agent.

Whether we'll actually see him coach the reigning Premier League champions again in the future remains to be seen.
